About Joe Rinaldi
I came here to chew gum and make new friends. Now, which of my new friends wants a piece of gum?
I’m a people connector, community builder, and sales strategist. Through That Was Clutch, I help my partners focus on the three key elements of good business development: intentionality, sincerity, and sustainability. Within that framework I help them develop customized sales and business development processes, implement them, and evolve as the industry shifts and changes. I help client services agencies, internal teams, consultants, and enterprise teams level up their business development.
I’m a coach and consultant, as well as an adjunct professor at Drexel University's Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design. I studied illustration at SCAD, served as VP of Business Development and later President at Happy Cog, founded PhilaMade, and most formatively served as a cadet at Commander Mark's Imagination Station.
